Mike Keane, ABS National Coach, reports on another successful set of ABS Youth and Senior Regional training sessions that were held on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 January 2012.
The sessions were well attended with 38 boxers there in total. Thirteen boxers attended the North training in the Byron ABC gym, twelve attend the East training in the Sparta AAC gym and thirteen in the Springhill ABC gym in the West
What was particularly encouraging was there were five coaches in attendance at the North District training session who were all eager to take part and learn. The boxers attending regional sessions are all currently following identical themes each week as the sessions bec0me more frequent.
Due to coaching commitments elsewhere, there will only be one training session this weekend on 29 January 2012. This will be held in the Springhill ABC Gym between 10.00am-12.00pm. Youth and Senior boxers from all districts are welcome to attend.
